We are pleased to announce the launch of our very own Sun kissed pad in our favourite holiday destination in the whole wide world, Goa! We have travelled to South beach in Miami, been beach bums in Ipanema, Rio and spent days sailing in the "fancy" South-of-France, but no destination compares to the warmth, spirit and feel of life lived lazily in Sunny Goa!
Villa Surya is situated in tranquil Siolim Village, in North Goa. If you are familiar with Goa, you will know that the original fun times were always had in North Goa - South Goa is only a second cousin! Siolim, is a small neighbourhood, ideally situated equidistant to the beaches of Calungute and Baga, and those of Morjim and Harambole.
Our pad is located in a secure, gated resort that is mostly owned by expatriates from the UK or Europe who came on a holiday and decided to stay. Surya is on the ground floor and overlooks a private swimming pool, accessible only to residents. The apartment is done up simply but has all the modern comforts that will make your stay comfortable.
The apartment has a spacious open plan living room, a bedroom, and a large bathroom.
neighbourhood and location
North Goa is known and loved as a land of golden beaches, palm trees, paddy fields and wooded hills. Its churches, temples, shrines and forts tell its history. It is associated with music, the famous Goan cuisine and most of all with a peace-loving , smiling people.
The Villa is just 10 minutes away from wide unsheltered stretch of exclusive beaches of Harambole and Morjim .There you will find beach shacks serving inexpensive refreshments and exquisite Goan cuisine. Beaches of Calungute and Baga are nearby as well with its bustling nightlife.
Other several tourist attractions of North Goa are the Churchesof Basilica of Bom Jesus,Se Cathedra, Archaeological Museum and Portrait gallery,Goa State Museum,Naval Aviation Museum. Temples of Shree Bhagavati,Shri Brahma Temple,Aguada Fort, Arvalem Caves, Arvalem Waterfalls, Dudhsagar Waterfalls are few other good places to visit.
Transport in Goa is cheap and readily available. It is handy to have an automobile accessible to zip across from beach to beach. Most tourists and locals use 2 wheelers. We are happy to connect you with our local providers at no extra cost. We pay GBP 3- GBP 5 per day for a scooter and we can extend that rate to you. Fuel charges are yours. With approximately 1L (for 75p) you can get around all day without refueling. Taxis are a phone call away, and the guards can call taxis for you at your request. They can range from GBP 12/per day to GBP 20/per day depending on the Season.

The Bedroom has large bay windows and opens up to the balcony, which overlooks the Swimming Pool. To the right, we have large windows that have a nice view of the lush green trees. We've furnished it simply, but with high quality bedding, including:

- Antique Burma Teak Cupboard - this was a great find in Goa. 50 year+ in age, we found this magnificent cupboard and requested our antique dealer to refurbish it. This is our pride and joy!
- 1.0 Tonne Air Conditioning.
Our first green feature - hot water through our Solar water heater. And there is plenty of it, so you will have running water 24X7.
- The Bathroom has a modern WC, and an adjoining shower area.
