Booking and deposit
In order to verify your booking, WorldEscape.com must be given the online prepayment. The necessary down payment sum depends on: the chosen apartment, the number of visitors and the length of your stay. This sum is exposed in the price calculation and also on the online booking form.
Please note that the booking is not definite until the deposit is received;
you then be given the booking confirmation by email.
The outstanding balance, along with the damage deposit, needs to be compensated in cash upon arrival, if not otherwise stated. The damage deposit is refunded at your exit, after the owner has inspected the accommodation.
Cancellation or change
Cancellation fees depend on notice given and are as follows:
- Notice given less than 14 days prior to entrance: 50% of the entire balance;
- Notice given less than 24 hours or no preceding notice: 100% of the entire balance.
Please note that the deposit is non-refundable, not even in the case of force majeure.
To adjust the number of guests: with smaller amount guests, the remaining balance stays the same; with additional guests, you pay the necessary supplement on arrival.
To alter the figure of days: with smaller amount days, you disburse less; with additional days, you pay the required extra sum on entrance.
Requesting a residence change from that of your confirmed booking is considered as a de facto cancellation. To modify an apartment; you must make a new booking. This is regarded as a fresh booking and is subject to the WorldEscape.com Terms and conditions.
All cancellations or changes must be completed via email or fax. Cancellations or changes by phone are not accepted.
WorldEscape.com recommends that the customer buy travel insurance with annulment cover.
When you book an apartment, you be given the booking evidence via email. Please print a copy of the email to bring with you; it has all the information that you need on arrival.
If you couldn’t make available your estimated time of arrival (ETA) when you booked, please let us know your ETA at least three days previous to your arrival date. This helps to make sure a timely check in.
During your stay
You are anticipated to treat your housing and all of its gear with concern. Any exact rules and policy for the accommodation and its ambiance must be respected at all times.
If any harm is done to the room or its gear, you must report to the owner/contact right away, so that maintenance can be dealt with as soon as feasible.
You are also likely to illustrate consideration and esteem towards your neighbors. As no room is completely soundproof –all and sundry expects a level of sound from neighbors– please be thoughtful of sound, predominantly in the evenings and at nighttime.
The individual signing the rental agreement (the client) is likely to make sure that his/her guests will act in an appropriate manner. Should that human being or his/her guests not behave in a rightfully accountable manner, the holder reserves the option to remove the customer and his/her guests from the somewhere to live; by this means forfeiting the option to any compensation by the client.
The accommodation is cleaned prior to your arrival. On your exit, you are required take out the garbage; the housing should be left in a sensible condition. The proprietor is at liberty to charge supplementary fees if the housing is not left as such.
Number of guests
The customer have to book for the number of visitors in the booking party. If this figure varies for the duration of your stay, you have to book for the maximum number of persons that will occupy the housing. E.g. On booking a housing for four nights; if on two nights you have four persons and two nights you have three persons, you make the booking for four persons.
If not or else agreed by the owner, only the number of guests indicated by the client in the booking is official to use the accommodation. The number of persons who might use the housing must not go beyond its allocated competence, except for kids under three years old. In the event of whichever breach of these obligations, the owner is at liberty to eject the customer and his/her visitors from the lodging; in so doing forfeiting the option to any remuneration by the client.
Before arrival: In the event that the proprietor cannot make available to you, the client, with the apartment that was booked, WorldEscape.com will venture in to find you a comparable accommodation, subject to accessibility. If no agreement can be made as regards to substitute accommodation, WorldEscape.com will repay the full prepayment for the booking. The client does not make WorldEscape.com liable for further claims.
Neither WorldEscape.com nor the proprietor of the accommodation shall be made legally responsible for any straight or not direct damages that might occur during the stay-period at the housing, including (but not exclusive to): wound to individual or possession, losses for the reason that of fire, theft or criminal behavior.
In the occurrence of any litigation with reference to the housing booking with World Escape LLC, the Courts in Delaware have solitary jurisdiction on such matters. USA law common at the time will be applied.
WorldEscape.com provides an online booking option using accommodation owners. In this view, WorldEscape.com is not accountable for possible delays, accidents, losses, alteration of schedule or rates, compensation (neither for persons nor for objects), in its supplier’s services. WorldEscape.com and its workers therein are consequently not accountable for: Errors and omission; falsification by third parties; personal damage or damage while staying in an housing booked all the way through WorldEscape.com; dispute between the client and a third party; Content of outside links on its website.
The service of WorldEscape.com is restricted to displaying accommodations and communication thereof, on the subject of making a booking; waiting booking confirmation is sent by email. The accountability of WorldEscape.com is restricted to the sum paid for the booking service.
