Located near the magnificent Gran Via, this apartment is central to an abundance of places of interest. A short walk away is the majestic Passeig de Gracia, with its architectural jewels, Casa Batlo, La Pedrera, and Casa Amatller. Continue walking down this tree-lined avenue and you will arrive at Plaza Catalunya, at the top of the World famous La Rambla. One street to your left from here is Via Laietana and there you can visit the stunning Palua de Musica, a Unesco World Heritage site. If that is not enough you have Barcelona’s own Arc de Triomf, whose tree-lined avenue leads you straight into Parc de la Ciutadella, home of Barcelona’s zoo. Of course if that is not your thing, the beach is only ten to fifteen minutes away by metro. If you want to sample real authentic Catalan life, why not go to the Santa Catarina Market and soak in the local atmosphere. The apartment is surrounded by Metro stations, Passeig de Gracia, (Yellow, purple and green) Urquinaona (yellow and red) Urgell (red) and Plaza Catalunya with connections to the airport. The airport bus also stops at Plaza Catalunya. There are plenty of bars and restaurants ranging from local Catalan cuisine to international. This area is truly a wonderful location to see this amazing city.
